Dancehall's Influence on Me

 

Personally, I can say that dancehall does have an influence on my behavior, however I am able to control it and not have a dancehall mentality all the time. When I listen to dancehall, I get more aggressive and do have moments of vulgarity, but once I stop listening to it, I can go back to being my normal self. I think the main problem with people and dancehall is that they do not have another way of thinking. I grew up in both the ghetto and the uptown areas, so I am able to switch back and forth between the two personalities as I need to, while others are either solely ghetto or solely uptown.
