Project Move

 

Project Move is a UTEP event where members of the student body and the staff volunteer to help others that need it. The track team usually has a showing and this year, they decided to paint the walls at Kidd Field. The Conference USA Outdoor Championships will be held here at UTEP in May, so the track needed to be spruced up, and who better to do it than the athletes that use it?

It was cold, but the entire team came out to help. Groups of people started chipping away at paint while others gave advice and moral support and lended a hand where needed. Everyone worked together to try to get the work done as quickly as possible in order to get out of the cold. Most of the people seemed to be enjoying themselves, making jokes and talking to pass the time and make the work seem easier.
